Professional Design Support

Within the company we have a lot of experience with the design and build of numerous large prestigious water features for both private and commercial clients. We are happy to offer support to anyone involved in landscape design or construction, starting with the initial design and extending through to construction stages of a project, aiming to ensure the desired outcome is fit for purpose, and contains no nasty surprises.

Areas we can look at:

Synthetic liners.

We have over 20 years’ experience using a variety of synthetic lining products currently available, and can advise on the best product for your project, as well as assisting with the construction design to help develop the most efficient way of incorporating the liner. Let’s face it, no one wants to look at acres of exposed EDPM or black plastic liner within a finished landscape proposal!

Earthworks.

This would include project depths, levels, gradients, and working freeboard to ensure the project remains stable.

Drainage.

If synthetic liners are being used, then we would always include a drainage system to relieve hydrostatic ground water pressure.

Soft landscaping works.

Aquatic plants need 3 dimensional consideration when choosing species and the desired location within the project in order to flourish. We have been involved in an extensive number of projects where this hasn’t been taken into account, and the end result doesn’t tie in with the initial concept. Running planting and earthworks plans together are vital to ensure the final project matches the initial concept.
